The Embers of Lordearon
This is a role play based guild
The Mission Objective: A team of like minded individuals who work for the common good of the people. Putting up a defence against the Burning Legion, the Scourge threats or Deathwing with whatever resources there are available.
The Guild Master and the guild
Malliuss Tenaka Gravebane is the eccentric guild master of The Embers. He is often missing for prolonged periods to his history and the master he serves. However he leaves the guilds daily running to the officers he already trusts and has served with.
Malliuss was once a highborne pirate, an elf with a lot of power and sway. He has a son named Kzarr and an adopted child named Ahran, (not played) who grew up alongside one another. His granddaughter, Jenesis, was once a leader in the Order of the Light, who unfortunately have been reported missing since the strike of the Cataclysm. Some of the former members have found their way into the Embers.
When trouble hit the elves his son Kzarr was split from the family, Jenesis was hidden away and brought into the Night Elf society along with Malliuss who appeared shortly after the Scourge riddled Stratholme closed the city gates. Malliuss went missing, he was presumed dead after his ship was blown apart and relatively few survivors came out.
Malliuss stumbled into the Deadwind Pass, where the servitude of his new life began. Malliuss broke into Karazhan Crypt for refuge against the bitterly cold winds and ogre threats, the pirate soon found that it was possibly the worst place he could have picked. Medivh’s servant’s found him and dragged him before the Guardian of Tirisfal, they were hoping for his corpse to be fed to the carrion outside. Medivh however had other plans; one of his material timelines had resorted in his death.
The control of Sargeras was gone but his body was with his mothers in the crypt and now this stranger had found him. He did not necessarily need to believe in fate but lacking an apprentice in the abandoned tower he was loathe to go in there and let others see it active again. Medivh made him swear an oath and Malliuss accepted. He would serve under any guise the mage chose, he would complete the tasks given to him and find others to help that he trusted. Forming the group now known as Embers he has prior experience of the horde and of being in the Ebon Hold.
Medivh sends him the missions and through his officers they organise the success of them.
Meetings and on Duty information
When acting as a representative of the working alliance all respect is given to all ranks, the officers’ words are law. Those who wish to be promoted will gain the chance by their actions, their interactions and the reputation that they have built. On duty it is expected that you will conduct yourself correctly at all times, if you are not working under the banner of a faction then you are asked to display your guild tabard. At guild meetings you are expected to wear your uniform and tabard. These will be issued to you at the first meeting you attend.
Those below Captain are issued with boots, trousers and a simple white shirt.
Those from Captain and above are provided with a haliscan set.
A note on our Death Knight admissions to the guild
The class of Death Knight (and it’s players) are welcomed into the guild freely without any bias. They are however expected to understand in terms of role play that they are NOT a servant of Arthas, they are free creatures. It is the understanding of the guild master that they are grateful for their new life, and chance to prove their worth. They join our guild as anyone else would, with a clean slate.
